Can doing the dishes be romantic?

It’s that time of day,
that boring, boring, booooriing time of day...
The dishes need to be done!

“Oh no, I am too tired.”

“Aaah… it can wait ‘till the morning.”

“Well, I have more important things on my to do list.”

Yes, I use these excuses myself sometimes.
However, there is a way to make this necessary bore a little bit more interesting.

You will need:
- Music, of the romantic kind
- A sexy dress (or whatever clothes you feel beautiful in)
- Make-up of your own choice
- A vivid imagination

Now, make yourself look like that beautiful princess you know you are.
Turn on the music.
Go to the kitchen… and do the dishes.
BUT – imagine yourself in a romantic, perhaps even magical situation that involves doing the dishes.

Here are two examples to help getting you started. The first example is the “normal” situation, while the second is for those loving fantasy with all its mystery and magic.

1) You and your date have just had your first dinner in your house/flat. He has been a real gentleman all evening and has even helped fixing a few practical things. He was the one cooking a special romantic dinner and though he wanted to do the dishes too, to make you feel like his queen for real, then you’ve insisted you will do it.
Imagine him sitting or standing near you. Feel that wonderful feeling of being completely and utterly in love.
Talk to him, imagine him answering you.
Visualise how the rest of the evening will go.
Before you know it, the dishes are done.

2) A mysterious and very attractive stranger is watching you. He is in your home, but you cannot see him – he has the ability to make himself invisible. He wants you, he desires you madly and if you could see him, you would desire him just as much. He is a powerful man, very powerful.
Feel that intense feeling of being watched by him, while you’re doing the dishes.
Before you know it - the dishes are done.

Now, go explore the romance of doing the dishes.

FYI: It might be easier (and definitely faster) to just get the dishes done ;)
